We, at The Unchained Tour, are committed to the flourishing of independent bookstores.

We’re embarking on a tour to spread the message that indie bookstores should be the vital center of communities.  Nights of storytelling and music, or book groups and talent shows, are at the heart of any living town.  It’s time to break the chains of the Internet, and of addictive shallow surfing, and get back to books and deep reading and sharing evenings with living, breathing people.

Your donation today will help us to realize that vision.   Membership not only benefits The Unchained Tour 2010, but also supports our larger goal of four tours per year—every year —in Georgia. And, other states are already clamoring for their own Unchained Tours.

Update! If you joined in 2010 and never received your tour poster, don’t fret! One of our gang picked up a beauty of a letterpress and we’ll have more posters ready for your hands and mailboxes soon! Apologies for the delay. We were too busy telling stories and saving bookstores!
